Description
The Manjushri on a Snow Lion Mantra:
Om Shri Di Mami Dipam Manjushiri Mum Shri, Praja Varda Ni Shri Di Soha.
The meaning of Manjushri’s Mantra: “Light of wisdom! Lead to the insight that all things are pure and free of defilements.” Manjushri’s mantra represents the quality of primordial wisdom, as Manjushri himself is a Bodhisattva who symbolizes wisdom. The sword that Manjushri holds in his right hand symbolizes his ability to cut through delusion. In his left hand, by his heart, Manjushri holds the stalk of a lotus flower. The book with the Perfection of Wisdom teaching (Prajnaparamita) is resting on its top. Thus the recitation of this mantra helps one to cut through one’s own delusions and consequently leads to the development of wisdom.
